The PIN code (Personal Identification Number) is the 4-digit code used to unlock the SIM card. Not to be confused with your security code to unlock your smartphone, which has nothing to do with it.

The PIN code only appears when you turn your phone back on after turning it off. If you don’t have it, don’t bother trying to call, text or go online.

If you do not enter the correct one, it is impossible to operate the telephone services. By default, when you buy a new phone, the PIN is 0000 or 1234 depending on your operator.
